Overview

NASA's Bell Jet-Ranger is a lightweight utility helicopter built by Bell Helicopter. It can operate at an altitude of nearly 14,000 feet, reach a top speed of 130 knots, and carry a crew of one pilot plus up to six passengers. It has a payload capacity of up to 2,000 lbs. The Bell Jet-Ranger has been used for military, civilian, and research missions.
