Overview

Alta-X is an uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by Freefly Systems. It can be equipped with various sensors, such as lidars, cameras, and meteorological instruments, to support atmospheric research. It can carry a payload of up to 35 lbs and has a maximum speed of 60 mph. It has a flight time of approximately 25 minutes with a 20 lb payload.
