ROGER is a ground-based W-band frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) profiling radar operating at the Stony Brook – Brookhaven Radar Observatory (SBRO). It was originally developed by ProSensing as an airborne radar system and later converted for ground-based operations. It collects radar measurements at an operating frequency of 94.8 GHz. ROGER has a range resolution of 5-150 m and can detect targets up to 20 km.
