Carbon Monoxide By Attenuation of Laser Transmission (COBALT) is an airborne instrument used to measure carbon monoxide in the atmosphere. It is manufactured by Los Gatos Research. COBALT takes measurements of carbon monoxide using laser spectrometry. It can also build profiles from these measurements.
