Cloud Imaging Probe

The cloud imaging probe (CIP) is an optical array probe. It obtains cloud particle images in order to create images of particles between 25-1550 μm in size. CIP takes measurements of particle size distribution as well as cloud liquid water content. The instrument was manufactured by Droplet Measurement Technologies.
