CHIR
Leica Chiroptera‐4x

The Leica Chiroptera‐4x (CHIR) is an airborne lidar system manufactured by Leica Geosystems. It uses linear-pulse lidar to measure topography at 1064 nm and bathymetry at 515 nm. CHIR has a pulse footprint of 0.25 m at 1064 nm and 2.1 m at 515 nm. It features an elliptical scanning pattern and operates at altitudes of 0.5 to 1.5 km.
