2D-S Stereo Probe

The 2D-S Stereo Probe is an optical imaging instrument. 2D-S uses linear array shadowing in order to take stereo cloud particle images. It uses two diode laser beams. This instrument was developed by SPEC Inc. with funding from the United States Navy. It is used on aircraft.
